Blog update

Sunday, July 6th, 2008

Hi everyone!  I decided that I needed more practice in this, so here I am again trying to perfect my blogging skills.  Actually, I wanted to mention that the current appearance of my blog is a temporary one.  Matt Friedman is working hard to put the best possible face here, so be patient, and soon I will have color, and links, and all of that good stuff!

I wanted to give you a couple of links to two gals who have been instrumental in Spooky Time Jingles, and who have been terrific in supporting me and encouraging me.  Dani is the one who had this brainstorm for STJ, and she has her own blog at Ambitions Design Studio where you can read about her work.

The banners and avatar for STJ, and the banner for my blog which Matt is working with were done by Annette of Huckleberry Arts.   She has been a creative genius in putting together bits and pieces of what I have sent her.

Thanks to both Dani and Annette, and of course, to Matt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to my blog!

Well, here I am, writing my very first BLOG! Who knew? For those of you who know me, this is a major undertaking, since I am terribly right-brained, and computer skills are not exactly my strong point. Fortunately for me, I have a wonderful friend, Matt Friedman, who is walking me through this – no GUIDING me through the mine field which is the internet!

News from my desk

Starting July 13th, I will be on a brand new website Spooky Time Jingles where you will be able to find original, one-of-a -kind pieces from American artists. We will specialize in Halloween and Christmas artwork the year ’round, so come on over and take a look! New work will be available on the 13th of each month, so if you see something you like, don’t wait too long to purchase! These will not be mass produced pieces, and each artist has been creating special works of art for the launch!
