WIP for February
It is so cold here in Virginia! Who knew we would be having some of the Arctic blasts in the South, but it is here. Of course, tomorrow, it will be near 60 degrees, but fear not all of you winter weather dwellers! We drop back at the beginning of the work week, and maybe we will have snow! I have decided to lighten up in my artwork and think spring, warmer weather, sights and sounds of a new season. Along this thought pattern, my pieces are going to reflect the return of my little feathered friends, although I have many who stay around through the harshest of temperatures. Here are three pieces I am working on for the pfatt release on the 10th! You’ll have to come back for a sneak peek at the finished products!

And, because of the weather, my little sculpts must sit on the air vent. OOOHHH! You get to see the real backdoor ickies where I haven’t cleaned! Well, you cannot be creative AND a neat freak, in my opinion!

LOL! That’s a good idea, drying on the vents. Those stacked birdies look adorable.

Thanks Sheila! The vents are my only hope when it gets this cold. The attic is certainly my standby spring, summer, and fall!

I love that you are using the vents! I wish I had those, but alas, we have little wall heaters in each room so I sit my pieces on a chair or the table in front of the heaters. I too love the stacked birds! Can’t wait to see the finished product!

Hi Ginny,
Great WIP’s….just love the stacked birds!!!! Great use of the vent! I use a dehydrator that I bought from a thrift store and my husband cut screens to fit the trays….works really well.

Yes, ladies, the vents are terrific! It is going to be fairly warm today, but tomorrow, back we go to winter! BRRRR!
