Enough of this!
OK, today is one of those days when I have to get out my soapbox and climb aboard. I read, with disgust, about the size 4 model who has been fired because she no longer fits into the clothing which she is to model! PULLEEEZZZE! She happens to be 5′ 10″ tall, and weighs 120 pounds! I don’t know about the rest of you, but the last time I was a size 4, I was probably in the womb!
Take a look at this link, and think about what this says about women, about pr, about self-image, about the emphasis to be shaped like a twig. Success in life is not determined by the label in your collar, or in your waistband. Success, in my opinion, comes from contentment with yourself, contentment in your own skin. if you have that, you can achieve whatever your heart desires!

Totally, utterly ridiculous!!! I just don’t get it, but it seems like this issue never gets any better….in fact, it seems to only get worse. During my very brief modeling stint in my 20s, i had a photographer tell me to lose weight because my thighs and hips were “too big”. I am 5’10 and weighed about 120. I went home in tears. Thank goodness i have realized what is truly important in life.

Hello Again!! It’s been quite a bit since I last popped in!! Wow!! But, as I am in total excitement mode- I thought I’d pop in- as I am out spreading the word on my new marketplace!! It’s taking the place of my older marketplace- with many many more fantastic features!! I’m spreading the word now- only to my fellow friends and artists- as I have not launched it’s grande’ opening to the public!!! Why? Because I am adding all of our artists pages and products as we speak- but want to make sure I get as many artists and goodies added before I announce to the world!! As soon as I’m about ready to launch- I’ll be letting all the artists know- so they can preview listings etc, and their pages- and then I will be sending out a million newsletters and passing the word!! Its very exciting and am pleased with all the wonderfully talented artists that are joining!!
