I have just finished reading an interesting online article about the incidence of breast cancer . The conclusion was that one-third of all breast cancers could be preventable. The author pointed out that doctors in no way are blaming women for their breast cancers, but instead, are emphasizing what can be done to reduce the risk. Please follow this link and take a look. It could save your life and/or that of someone you know!
It’s the first day of spring! Where I live, it is bright and sunny with temps in the low 70s by this afternoon! Yay! For many of us in the United States, this winter has been brutal, and the idea of warming weather is welcome!
Recently, I came across this article online, and wanted to share it with all of you. Here are some simple tips for being happier. For me, happiness is pretty much a matter of choice. We determine the thoughts which come into our minds. I know what you are thinking – geez! This gal is a Polyanna! No, I am not, but it doesn’t cost any more to have a positive attitude, and in fact, negative thoughts can harm you physically and mentally. You end up with a compromised immune system, a draggy feeling, etc. etc. We’ve all been there – so, even though I have some down times, I try to snap out of it and return to the positive. Here’s hoping you all do as well! Check out this article on the first day of a new season, and enjoy!
