It’s just 2 1/2 weeks until Christmas!  Gasp!  I haven’t even done my shopping, but that’s okay.  I enjoy going to my fave stores – Barnes & Noble is at the top of my list.  I could spend days there – who am I kidding!  I HAVE spent days there!  Now that I have returned from doing my shows, I’ll have more time to browse the books and magazines, grab something to nibble on, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays.

Because I enjoy festive decorating and wearing of the holiday colors, I’ll be showing some holiday pins when pfattmarketplace updates on the 10th of this month.  Here’s a sneak peek at some of the goodies!  More in a day or two!

It’s one week until my big Christmas Market here in Virginia Beach – Thanksgiving weekend.  I”ve been working on inventory like crazy.  Where do you think we’ll be eating our holiday meal?????

A special thank you to those wonderful folks who purchased my snowmen ornaments on pfattmarketplace yesterday!  I didn’t even have the opportunity to post pictures of the little guys before they were sold!  I am so grateful to all of you!  Here are a few pics, and stay tuned for some sneak peeks at what I have in my assembly room aka the dining room!

I’ve been a slacker when it comes to my blog lately – life intervenes and waaay too much going on.  So, it’s November 1, and I shall make an effort to keep everyone up-to-date!  Good plan!

Remember a little while ago when I posted the dino teeth which are part of the headpieces I am painting for the Norfolk Generic Theater’s production of the musical Enron?  Well, wonder no more about how they fit into the big picture!  Here is a before shot of the dino assembled, but unpainted…..

ok…….here’s a pic of the inside of the mouth – still a little work that I had to do to clean up the teeth, which, by the way, now are fully painted, even with washes of goldish brown to resemble tartar!  lol!

And now……………….

I’ve since gone back in to knock down the brightness just a bit with some washes of brown.  I was figuring that the lights would be pretty dim for the production, so the enhanced highlights on the heads would be necessary, but apparently, they won’t be, so now they are just a bit less contrasting in color.  I am spraying quite a few applications of a fixative, in the hopes that it will keep things in tact and lookin’ good!  After all, they have to make it through numerous rehearsals before the actual production!  Wow!  Stay tuned for more theater news!
