It’s been a while for me to get back into a regular rhythm of blogging, posting photos, etc.  Between the pc dying, our trip to California for our son’s wedding, and catching up on deadlines, life has been sorta crazy!  Now that I am settling back in, I wanted to post a pic of my latest creation - my Happy Little JOL which will be available on pfattmarketplace tomorrow night around midnight, West Coast time!  I am making my own papier mache these days - love the feel, love the texture, love the look - hope you do as well!  Check in tomorrow night and see all the goodies!

Here we are, at the beginning of the summer season - well, officially not for a couple of weeks, but after Memorial Day, we all know warm weather is here!  In less than a month, it will be our nation’s birthday.  On pfattmarketplace, we will be celebrating the Fourth with some special treats for that holiday.  I’ll be posting some previews in a couple of days, but just so you don’t forget, here’s a great banner to remind you of what’s ahead!

What’s nearly here?  Where?  HERE!  Well, sort of.  The monthly update for pfattmarketplace, that great online venue for original artwork, is a little over 24 hours away.

Since spring is just around the corner on the calendar, even if it is not so much evident outside, and since Easter is less than one month away, my pieces for this month’s update will reflect the move to longer, sunny days!  Yay! So, here’s a peek……

This piece is entitled Oh Hoppy Day - a nice little canvas panel depicting a hopping, happy bunny with his paws full of Easter eggs!

beautiful floral pods sculpted of natural clay, whose density makes them perfect as paperweights!

Pfattmarketplace updates tonight!  yay!  In my previous post, I showed you the little potpourri pockets.   Now, brace yourselves for teeny tweets!  These little guys make the perfect personal gift.  You write a message on a slip of paper, and then insert it into the hollow branch.  These little feathered friends are a terrific way to say Thank You, Congratulations, Happy Birthday, I Love You, Happy Anniversary, etc. etc. AND the message lingers with the little bird as the gift!   Here they are - tweeting the old-fashioned way!  Enjoy, and see you around midnight Pacific time TONIGHT!

Pfatt marketplace will have its update in a few days, so I thought I would post one image of some pieces I will have at that time.  I have been working a lot in natural sculpting clay.  Here are some potpourri pockets, I am calling them, which can go about anywhere!  There is a small hole in the back for hanging from a nail.  Actually, these terrifically textured pieces could hold anything which isn’t wet.

Think of the possibilities………potpourri or drieds - those would be nice…..pencils, pens - sorta dull……..wrapped CANDY! CHOCOLATE!  That’s the idea!  Join all of us just as the clock strikes midnight, going into February 10th!  There is always a lot of wonderful work!
