A blog award? Me???????
Friday, August 22nd, 2008Yes, it is unbelievably true! My new blogging friend, Sheila, from Freckleberry, presented me with this award. I have been trying to put the picture into my blog, but there’s something I am just not doing correctly! Oh well…I’ll figure it out. At any rate, this was totally unexpected, and I am so happy to be thought worthy of this! Sheila has been so kind to me, so I want you all to go and visit her blog to see the wonderful pieces she has been working on and is sending to FolkWorks Gallery in Evanston, Illinois. Her work will be there for November and December for the big Christmas show. If you are even remotely close to Evanston, you owe it to yourself to visit this rare and exciting gallery which features ooak from American artists. Additionally, Cease Giddings, the creative genius behind the gallery, carries antique quilts, vintage jewelry, and vintage linens. It is eye candy extraordinaire, AND so is Sheila’s work!
