It’s official!  The calendar really does say it is spring, even though there are snowstorms in the US!  We at the AHA Artists Studio have updated our site, and we have a breath of warmer times with our observance of the Year of the Rabbit!  Take a look at my offering this month!

What’s nearly here?  Where?  HERE!  Well, sort of.  The monthly update for pfattmarketplace, that great online venue for original artwork, is a little over 24 hours away.

Since spring is just around the corner on the calendar, even if it is not so much evident outside, and since Easter is less than one month away, my pieces for this month’s update will reflect the move to longer, sunny days!  Yay! So, here’s a peek……

This piece is entitled Oh Hoppy Day – a nice little canvas panel depicting a hopping, happy bunny with his paws full of Easter eggs!

It’s time for the Spookytime Jingles update, and for this month and the next, we will have a special added feature – Holiday Hootenanny!

The artists will have special Easter related items for you, in addition to our customary Halloween and Christmas which we celebrate throughout the year.

Here’s a look at what I will be offering for the Hootenanny – two rabbit totems!

I will be creating some different totems with animals whose characteristics you might find you share!  You’ll have to check out stj tomorrow night around midnight Eastern time to find out if you or someone you know is like a rabbit!   A small clue – you are able to move quickly, even in the face of danger!  Wow!  That’s certainly a good quality!

Also, for my stj update, I will have Halloween and Christmas……..

Yes, it is nearly time for updates on pfattmarketplace and spookytimejingles.  Here are some wip for both of the sites.  It will, of course, be time for spring things, and there will also be some Santas for STJ.  Just have to keep my hand in all seasons!  I’ll be posting the finished pieces on the updates, and, I’ll be giving sneak peeks in the next few days, so stay tuned, and check back here!

If you have followed my last two posts, you know about The LEAP Foundation, and the upcoming fundraiser to be held February 28th!  Just in case you haven’t read my recent blog entries, take a moment to get up to speed about this great event!  My previous two entries will tell you all about it!

I had posted the wip bunnies which will be in a silent auction, and now, I am happy to write, they are completed, and on their way to California!  Take a look!  They will be part of an Easter collection, which will be included in a larger holiday package to be auctioned for charity.  I will be posting pictures in the next few days so that you can see everything which will be available.  If you are in the Los Angeles area,  I urge you to attend this fun event!  There will be food, fun, music, and auctions – all to benefit The Leap Foundation, whose philanthropic endeavors help community efforts as well as female entrepreneurs in developing nations around the globe.    Now, for the unveiling…….
