I have been SUCH a slacker in posting! Waay too much going on, but things seem to have moderated, so I’ll try to be better! Really, I promise! It’s nearly spring on the calendar, and with that season comes new life. How exciting! This little mama is doing her part to bring more beauty into our world. She is an American robin, settled down in her nest, to await the hatching of her little babies. She is hand sculpted from paperclay, as is the pot which holds her and the nest. It’s that time of the year! I’ve been hearing the birds singing their little hearts out for a couple of weeks now. With that delightful background in mind, I decided to sculpt a little mama robin, as she snuggles into her nest, made on top of a flower pot. They are the first hints of spring, of course!
