Do you have the winter blahs?
Friday, January 16th, 2009Anyone out there have the winter blahs? When I was in college, I used to call it the February Funk! Fortunately, February is a short month, so when it rolls around, you know it won’t last that long! When we get right down to it, we don’t have a huge holiday/day off to celebrate. Valentine’s Day is fun, so I guess that counts, but winter does stretch through the calendar. We have finally gotten past the holidays, and for some, it seems as though there is nothing much until things warm up. Maybe we would all do better without a calendar - just take the days as they come, as people did eons ago. Sometimes I think we are all so bound up in schedules, and dates, and activities that we miss real life. Just my philosophy for the morning!
I don’t normally have the winter blahs, because I am busily brainstorming, which I seem to do 24/7 throughout the year. BUT, if you get the blahs, take a look at this online article. Perhaps it will give you a boost! Enjoy! And take advantage of every single day of your life - blahs or no blahs!
